The Eighth Day of Kindergarten

Eight days. That is how long it took Chloe to "test" the rules and get in trouble at school.

I'm sure in elementary school, we all wondered "what happens if we just don't go in from recess when the bell rings?" Maybe as a brazen fifth or sixth grader we might have even tested it out, just to find out what the consequence was. But I am pretty sure there are very few who decide to do it on their eighth day of kindergarten . We can number Chloe (and the friend she was with) among those few.

I think we have a long road ahead of us.
