"A house does not have to be perfect to be a home of joy, a child does not have to behave perfectly to love and be loved, and every moment of life does not have to be perfect to be of value. Too often, I realize, we fail to see the glorious reality of the simple joy that abounds in the seemingly mundane routine of day-to-day living. Instead, we tend to idolize the past, idealize the future, and devalue the present.... What better way to show our appreciation to Heavenly Father for what we have than to embrace our lives, albeit 'ordinary' and 'unexciting,' with joy?"

Chloe the Soccer Player

So... Chloe has possibly the world's smallest feet (and hands) of any five year old. All round, she is petite, but her feet (and hands) are just tiny. In fact, I had to order her size 8 cleats from a soccer store in Pittsburg, because no local stores and no online retailers had her size. Most don't carry that size and the few that do only get one or two pairs and were sold out.

I was quite excited to have Chloe try her new shinguards and cleats on when they came in the mail today, but I was worried that they were going to be too small because they just looked *so small* But they fit and are just about the cutest thing ever!

What a cutie! I think we may have the same problem with Jackson! He has some tiny hands and feet compared to other babies his age. Kevin's are pretty small too, so we'll see if Jackson grows out of it. I love the blog!

Those are the cutest soccer cleats!!!! I wish I had pink ones at that age. I love watching little guys play soccer (or bunch ball).
