"A house does not have to be perfect to be a home of joy, a child does not have to behave perfectly to love and be loved, and every moment of life does not have to be perfect to be of value. Too often, I realize, we fail to see the glorious reality of the simple joy that abounds in the seemingly mundane routine of day-to-day living. Instead, we tend to idolize the past, idealize the future, and devalue the present.... What better way to show our appreciation to Heavenly Father for what we have than to embrace our lives, albeit 'ordinary' and 'unexciting,' with joy?"

T-Ball Season

It's t-ball season! Chloe is playing her second year of t-ball and has shown awesome improvement since last year- it is an amazing difference! She claims it is now her favorite sport- beating out soccer and gymnastics! Here are some pics from the game this past Saturday:

Justin, the dugout coach, telling Chloe that she is on deck!

Swing!

Playing pitcher- her favorite position! Yes, I'm aware you don't need a pitcher in t-ball, but thats where most the balls get hit to, so the pitcher sees a lot of action!

She looks like a pro here- jumping up to catch the ball- but really she is just jumping up and down waiting for the next kid to come up to bat!

Throwing the ball to first base!

Go Panthers!

Chloe is really looking like she is a pro at this.Especially when she likes to play in the positions with the most action.
